When submitting an image to ATDW, you may have received an error message that indicates the image is the incorrect size. Images in ATDW must be minimum 1600 x 1200 pixels. Follow the steps below to resize your image.
Before resizing your image, check that it meets these ATDW guidelines:
* Image is of a good resolution - preferably higher than 500kb to start (no small low res)
* No text or logos over the image
* Landscape (wide) orientation
* No collages (more than one image merged with another)
* No borders
* Image must be in focus with good lighting
If your image appears distorted once resized, it won't be suitable for use on your profile and you will need to find another image.
1. Locate the image in your files/folders and open in 'Photos' (or just double click the image)
2. Click on the three dots, then click 'Resize image' in the drop down menu
3. Images in ATDW need to be a minimum 1600px x 1200px. To resize your image, toggle with the image size to achieve minimum 1600px wide x 1200px high. Enter 1600 into the 'Width' field and if the height result is higher than 1200px, continue to next step. If not, enter 1200 into the 'Height' field and ensure the width is higher than 1600. Ensure 'aspect ratio' is maintained (the small icon between the image width and height).
4. Toggle with the image Quality to achieve the maximum image size (min is 600kb, max is 10MB, ideal size is 1MB).
5. Click Save to save the resized image to your files and upload it to your ATDW profile
