International marketing

Visit Victoria's international marketing division works with Tourism Australia, airlines, key distribution partners and the Victorian tourism industry to develop marketing strategies designed to increase consumer awareness of Victoria as a premier tourist destination and its brand strengths in food and wine, arts and culture, nature based tourism and events.

Visit Victoria's consumer focused international marketing activities include: marketing initiatives leveraging Tourism Australia's brand activity in all international markets, independent brand campaigns, targeted public relations and digital media activity and media visit programs generating awareness of Victoria as a destination as well as maintenance and development of destination content on visitmelbourne.com and its international language variants.

Our trade focused marketing activities include: assistance for and close collaboration with Australian based inbound tour operators, including conducting education workshops, familiarisations and trade missions, often in partnership with the Australian Tourism Export Council. Visit Victoria also facilitates industry participation in international trade and consumer shows and trade missions; cooperative campaigns in conjunction with key airline and distribution partners and developing close partnerships with Tourism Australia and other state and territory tourist offices.

The organisation has offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand, United States, Singapore, Japan, China (Shanghai & Guangzhou) and representative offices in India and Korea. See the Contact us page for all international contact details.
