Free ATDW listings - Melbourne tourism businesses

ATDW listings provide an effective way for Victorian tourism businesses to showcase their products or services on key tourism websites at a national, state and regional level.

In June, Visit Victoria announced free 12-month ATDW listings for all Victorian tourism businesses thanks to support of the Victorian Government and Regional Tourism Boards.

We are pleased to extend the deadline to renew an expired listing or create a new listing free of charge – the closing date is now January 31, 2021.

This page contains information for tourism businesses operating in the tourism region of Melbourne who wish to take up this offer. If you operate in regional Victoria, click here.

How to claim your free ATDW listing

If you already have a live ATDW listing:

There's nothing you need to do. Your listing subscription has automatically been extended by 12 months from its original expiry date. You can find your new expiry date on your ATDW-Online listing dashboard.

As always, we would encourage you to check that your listing is up to date, particularly if you have made changes to your operating hours or conditions in recent months. You can find instructions to update your listing here.

If you have an expired ATDW listing:

Your listing will still be available in your ATDW-Online account for you to update and renew free of charge.

  1. First, you'll need to request a coupon code from Visit Victoria's ATDW team here. This will need to be applied at the payment stage of the listing renewal process in ATDW-Online.
  2. Once you have your code, you can log in to your ATDW-Online account and follow these steps to renew your listing.

If you don't have an ATDW listing and would like to create one:

  1. First, you'll need to confirm that your business meets ATDW eligibility criteria. Your business must provide a direct experience or service to the leisure tourist and have a physical premises that is open to visitors. If you're unsure of your eligibility, contact us.
  2. Once you have confirmed that your business is eligible, you can request a coupon code from Visit Victoria here. Please allow 1-2 business days to receive your coupon code.
  3. In the meantime, we recommend you prepare a description of your business if you don't have one already. Aim for 2-3 short paragraphs at a maximum of 200 words. You'll also need a selection of five to 10 quality images to showcase your business. Images need to be in landscape orientation and at least 1600 x 1200 pixels in size. You can find some advice for selecting and uploading images here.
  4. Once you have received your coupon code and have your description and images ready, go to to register an account and create your listing. You can find some instructions to follow here.
