Free ATDW Listings for Victorian tourism businesses

ATDW listings provide an effective way for Victorian tourism businesses to showcase their products or services on key tourism websites at a national, state and regional level.

Following the success of free ATDW listings provided to bushfire affected regions, Visit Victoria has worked closely with the Victorian State Government and Regional Tourism Boards and are pleased to extend this offer to all tourism businesses across Victoria as they reopen and recover.

Existing ATDW subscribers have had their listing automatically extended by 12 months. New businesses or businesses with an expired ATDW listing can claim a free 12-month listing for a limited time.

Where your ATDW listing is part of an industry partnership or membership with a Regional Tourism Organisation, please contact them for further information. If you operate outside of a Regional Tourism Board region, please contact Visit Victoria to claim this offer.

How to claim this offer

If you already have a live ATDW listing:

There's nothing you need to do. Your listing subscription has automatically been extended by 12 months from its original expiry date. You can find your new expiry date on your ATDW-Online listing dashboard.

As always, we would encourage you to check that your listing is up to date, particularly if you have made changes to your operating hours or conditions in recent months. You can find instructions to update your listing here.

If you have an expired ATDW listing:

Your listing will still be available in your ATDW-Online account for you to update and renew free of charge.

  1. First, you'll need to request a coupon code from your relevant Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO). This will need to be applied at the payment stage of the listing renewal process in ATDW-Online. You can find the contact details of your Regional Tourism Organisation below.
  2. Once you have your code, go to your ATDW-Online account and follow these steps to renew your listing.

If you don't have an ATDW listing and would like to create one:

  1. First, you'll need to confirm that your tourism business meets ATDW eligibility criteria. Your business must provide a direct experience or service to the leisure tourist and meet the definition of one of the ATDW listing categories. If you're unsure of your eligibility, contact us.
  2. Once you have confirmed your eligibility, you'll need to request a coupon code from your Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO). This will be applied at the payment stage of the listing creation process in ATDW-Online. You can find your Regional Tourism Organisation's contact details below.
  3. In the meantime, we recommend you prepare a description of your business if you don't have one already. Aim for 2-3 short paragraphs at a maximum of 200 words. You'll also need a selection of five or so high quality images to showcase your business. Images need to be in landscape orientation and at a minimum size of 2048 x 1536 pixels. You can find some advice for selecting and uploading images here.
  4. Once you have received your coupon code and have your description and images ready, go to www.atdw-online.com.au to register an account and create your listing. You can find some instructions to guide you here.

FAQs

What is the ATDW and how does it work?
The ATDW is a digital content distribution platform for the Australian tourism industry. It provides Australian tourism businesses and events with increased online exposure through a single, self-managed listing that appears on many tourism platforms including visitvictoria.com, australia.com and official region websites.
What is the eligibility criteria for having an ATDW listing?
Your business or event must operate in Australia, provide a direct experience to the leisure tourist and meet the criteria of one of the following product categories: Accommodation; Attraction; Food and Drink; Event; Hire; Tour; Transport and General Service. Tour operators and Accommodation providers must provide a current ABN upon registering an ATDW account.
How long will businesses be able to claim a free 12-month listing for?
New businesses or those with an expired listing will have until 31 August 2020 to claim and redeem their coupon code, unless otherwise stated by their Regional Tourism Board. If you already have a live ATDW listing, your current subscription has already been extended by 12 months and you don't need to take any action.
How do I reset my password to log in to ATDW-Online?
Go to www.atdw-online.com.au and click on the 'Forgot password' link in the top right corner. Enter your username (email address) and an email will be sent to you with further instructions.
I'm not sure if I have registered with ATDW in the past. How can I find out?
Please contact Visit Victoria's ATDW team for help on 1300 306 366 or at [email protected]
How to I find out when my listing is due to expire?
If you have a live ATDW listing, you can find it's expiry date in the listing summary information on your ATDW-Online listing dashboard.
