ATDW Success Stories

Cactus Country

John, Marketing - Cactus Country in Strathmerton, shared his thoughts on the importance of having an ATDW profile.

John Hall

Cactus Country has been featured in so many Visit Victoria campaigns over the years and without an ATDW listing, none of it would have occurred. The initial setup took around 1 hour, however the team at Visit Victoria and Moira Shire were happy to help on multiple occasions to resize images and get them uploaded. If you're in tourism, you absolutely need an ATDW profile - it's the only way you'll get featured on Visit Victoria as well as a whole range of other high traffic websites.

Make sure you regularly update your listing and add deals whenever possible, it will help you rank higher and get more visibility by the tourism industry that help promote your business.

What do you like about using ATDW?

"My experience with ATDW has been nothing but positive."

"A real person always answers the phone and gives total support to members experiencing some lack of understanding in how to enter details about an event. This is a fantastic support."

What did you find most useful about the recent Yarra Ranges ATDW training session?

"The information session was most helpful despite the fact I did not have my laptop with me. Paige, of the ATDW team was most supportive in showing me how to clone a previous event as we have many events at Warratina Lavender Farm and this is a great time saver. Also to change some technical information regarding our business."

"In conclusion I wish to reiterate how helpful the team at ATDW are and all their expertise and support. Well done."

Alexandra Hotel

The team at the Alexandra Hotel in the High Country have been using the ATDW for two years as a tool to promote their dining, accommodation and event offerings.

Alexandra Hotel

Why do you use the ATDW?

"We initially started using ATDW online to help us market our events, this is a free option and we were thrilled at the reach of customers that we achieved. Then when we started our hotel adventure we list our events plus listed/registered our business under the accommodation & food sections of the ATDW platform."

What do you like about the ATDW-Online platform?

"I like that I can tinker away whatever time of the day or night and upload our events a few times a year. We’re thrilled when we see our little business pop up on websites, what’s on brochures and other publications that we would not otherwise have known existed or that where possible for us to be a part of."

What outcomes does the ATDW deliver for you?

"It’s not always easy to capture how customers or guests find you but between our online presence through our website, social media and the uptake of many other businesses and tourism bodies via ATDW platform we feel that we have many bases covered."

"Alexandra Hotel loves the partnership with ATDW, it’s a huge part of our marketing strategy. Whether its a one off event, farmers market, music, themed dinner or our annual Boutique Accommodation or Restaurant listing we find the reach that we achieve is fantastic!"
