Click for Vic is currently encouraging consumers to support businesses and areas impacted by the 2022 floods by buying products online and to reschedule their bookings, not cancel. It is designed to help businesses in need while visitors may not be able to come.
The digital platform –clickforvic.com – links Victorians with Victorian products from wines and craft beverages, to hampers, condiments, homewares and jewellery.
Click for Vic was initially launched by Visit Victoria in August 2020, encouraging Victorians to get behind the tourism industry by buying local products online while travel restrictions were in place.
The campaign successfully connected consumers with Victorian businesses offering at-home, virtual or delivered to your door experiences and helped keep businesses operating during the pandemic.
The multi-million dollar marketing campaign was delivered through advertising on television, radio, out-of-home, print, digital and social media and further supported by public relations and partnerships.
The campaign was designed to stimulate immediate return for businesses, while also keeping the state's tourism destinations front of mind for Victorians by building awareness and consideration for future travel.
