Grants Administration Officer (MCB)

Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), as part of Visit Victoria, leads the acquisition and delivery of national and global business events for Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

MCB strengthens Melbourne’s position as a global leader in business events, and we are looking for a Grants Administration Officer who will assist with the coordination and administration of the National Business Events Program. 

Note - This is a Fixed Term Contract until June 2023

What you will be doing;

  • Liaising with clients regarding funding applications and processes,
  • Drafting funding contracts and reviewing milestone objectives against funding commitments
  • Maintenance of MCB’s CRM and Financial Management system
  • Research tasks and other admin as required


What you'll bring;

  • Experience in administration.  Previous experience in the public sector will be highly regarded
  • Great relationship and client liaison skills
  • Experience at working with Customer Relationship Management databases will be highly regarding 
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously
