The Victorian Government and Visit Victoria supports regional events through the Regional Events Fund (REF) to showcase our State and build Victoria’s reputation as an events destination.
The REF helps event organisers stage exciting events in regional Victoria – bringing new visitors to regional destinations, boosting local economies, bringing communities together and raising the profile of the area to a national audience.
Since the fund was launched in 2016, it has helped support more than 350 events and attracted tens of thousands of visitors to regional Victoria, helping local communities thrive.
