As a part of Visit Victoria, Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) leads the acquisition and delivery of national and global business events for Melbourne and regional Victoria. This is achieved through partnering with the Victorian State Government, City of Melbourne, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, and over 150 private enterprise partners.
MCB has more than 50 years of experience in securing business events for Melbourne with local and global teams dedicated to business development, bidding and sales, convention servicing, marketing, and partnerships.
Since its inception, MCB has developed an enviable track record in delivering both large and small scale events, having worked with associations, corporates and event planners to identify and bid for the right to host conferences, incentive travel reward programs, corporate meetings and other business events from around the world. Today MCB has an unrivalled reputation for facilitating the delivery of high quality business events, which meet and transcend the needs and expectations of event organisers.

Our Convention Services team is responsible for the delivery of secured international business events in Melbourne. You will work collaboratively with industry stakeholders to promote Melbourne and provide solutions to ensure successful outcomes for event planners and attendees.
This is role will suit someone with experience in Melbourne’s event industry, the role may have requirements to work out of hours.
