The Content Coordinator is a challenging and dynamic role, where you will provide your skills in communications, marketing and digital content. You will assist the Web Content Manager to coordinate and implement the provision of online product on Visit Victoria's websites including operators, events and accommodation and to be the front-line help services to the stakeholders, tourism industry and operators.
Assist with the delivery of the online product strategy for the sales and management of ATDW listings on Visit Victoria’s consumer websites including phone and email support to tourism operators and industry.
Coordinate, maintain and quality assure product listings on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) and visitvictoria.com.
Build relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Assist in the delivery of ATDW training for the Victorian tourism industry
Coordinate and action a range of reporting and listing retention procedures as required
Assist in the development and maintenance of content for Visit Victoria’s consumer websites
Provide support for the production of EDMs and other digital content
Experience developing content for digital channels
Knowledge of travel and tourism industry in Australia.
Well-developed editorial skills with an understanding of online content principles
Good communication skills in public speaking, training and presenting.
Good interpersonal skills, ability to develop effective working relationships with managers, staff, contractors and suppliers.
Well-developed organisational skills.
Experience in database management, content management systems (Sitecore highly regarded) and coordination and delivery of web projects.
A tertiary qualification in any of the following: tourism, marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, media or public relations.
Position specific requirements
This position has a requirement to work out of hours, and it will involve evening or weekend work including occasional overnight travel.
