The Major Events Division has primary responsibility for the management of Visit Victoria’ major events portfolio and the Regional Events Fund. This key role will provide key support for Regional Tourism Boards (RTB’s) to help develop, secure, market and deliver more regional events, along with developing more innovative campaigns, services and products. The overall aim is to further improve the coordination of regional marketing campaigns and resources.
The Regional Tourism & Strategy Division has primary responsibility for the management of Visit Victoria’s engagement with Regional Tourism Boards (RTBs), Regional Development Victoria and Local Government with the goal of increasing the contribution of the Visitor Economy to regional Victoria.
